Time Out Gadget: Nintendo Wii Balance Board
Locul concluziilor este la sfârşit, însă de data asta fac o excepţie şi spun: cine nu are Wii să-şi cumpere! (Asta dacă televizorul din casă face parte din categoria plasmă/ LCD/ LED.) Am încercat produsul lansat de Nintendo, iar experienţa a fost una cel puţin interesantă.
The Balance Board sau, dacă vreţi, "placa de echilibru", vine la
pachet cu Wii Fit, seria de jocuri şi programe de aerobic create
special pentru consola Nintendo şi va fi pe placul tuturor mamelor
care se rugau de copiii lor să lase Mario şi Zelda pentru puţină
mişcare non-virtuală.
Acum că am terminat cu "ce?" şi "cine?", să vă spun şi "cum". Pe
scurt, Wii Fit, împreună cu accesoriul mai sus menţionat, a ajuns
acolo unde niciun joc video şi controller-ul său nu au ajuns
vreodată, în universul "celor ce se menţin în formă atunci când se
joacă pe televizor".
Wii Fit te ajută să urmezi un program de aerobic, îţi măsoară
starea generală a corpului şi, evident, dă sfaturi atunci când nu
îţi îndeplineşti scopul propus. Pe lângă asta, un punct în plus
este că o face fără să te plictisească. Balance Board vine cu o
serie de jocuri menite să-ţi îmbunătăţească echilibrul şi
reflexele, dar şi cu o serie de exerciţii de yoga, aviz
amatorilor.
De ce Wii şi nu PlayStation 3?, vă puteţi întreba. Chiar dacă
acesta din urmă este mai ieftin cu aproximativ 200 de lei, nu face
decât să te ţină lipit de scaun. Dacă pachetului Nintendo îi
adăugăm şi o plasmă, fiindcă altfel micul trainer personal din
televizor ar deveni "foarte micul şi neclarul" trainer personal,
costurile totale ajung undeva la 4.000 lei. Merită? Cred că da,
dacă oricum aveţi în program minute bune de relaxare în casă şi
dacă oricum aveaţi de gând să schimbaţi vechiul televizor.
În plus, consola Wii vine cu o serie de jocuri pe care nu le
găsiţi în altă parte, cel mai renumit fiind pachetul "sports", ce
include simulatoare de ciclism, tenis sau tir. O veste bună pentru
amatorii de MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing
games): în scurta incursiune în universul Wii, am găsit un
controller creat special pentru Guild Wars. Însă despre el, data
viitoare.
N.A: Articolul de faţă nu doreşte să încurajeze consumul excesiv de
jocuri video. În niciun caz şi niciodată, practicarea sportului în
aer liber nu poate fi substituită de un aparat electronic, aşa
cum niciun antrenor de fitness nu poate fi înlocuit de
o consolă video.
